


Washington, D.C. – July 25, 2025:
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, arrived in Washington, D.C., this evening for a series of high-level diplomatic engagements. He was warmly received at the airport by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, along with senior officials of the Embassy of Pakistan.
During his visit, Senator Dar is scheduled to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the U.S. Department of State on Friday. The meeting will focus on key aspects of the Pakistan-z. bilateral relationship, with particular emphasis on expanding trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries. Both sides are expected to explore practical avenues for strengthening strategic ties and enhancing mutual understanding on regional and global developments.
In addition to his official meetings, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will deliver a keynote address at the Atlantic Council, a prominent Washington-based think tank. In his address, he will outline Pakistan’s perspective on evolving regional dynamics, global challenges, and the future trajectory of Pakistan-U.S. relations.
